Nakatikim na rin ng sapak...

I just heard from people down South that Angelo got socked in the face recently.

He was confronted by his cycling team and was asked about his misdeeds and lies to them.  He was also acting shady and I wouldn't be surprised if he owes money to the team and its members.

Having skin as thick as a Carabao's, he denied everything.

What happened next?  He was punched in the face, fell off his chair, and was about to be jumped but the other guys stopped the assailant.

Unfortunately, racerboy was not flogged to death.  Tsk tsk...

Finally! A case has been filed...

An insider from an RTC told me that a case had already been filed.  The criminal case against him:  falsification of documents and bouncing checques - arraignment was held last August and 1st.

I am sure the hearing has commenced.

UPDATE:  The case was filed at the Makati RTC.

A trophy for being one of Manila's con artist

Here he is basking in his glory (3rd from left)... glory of being one of Manila's 'finest' SOCIOPATHS...

Enjoy!

Angelo 'SOCIOPATH' Barretto

Thank you to one of our blog followers for posting this.

Whoever you are, you hit the spot!

Profile of the Sociopath = ANGELO BARRETTO

This website summarizes some of the common features of descriptions of the behavior of sociopaths.

  • Glibness and Superficial Charm
  • Manipulative and Conning
They never recognize the rights of others and see their self-serving behaviors as permissible. They appear to be charming, yet are covertly hostile and domineering, seeing their victim as merely an instrument to be used. They may dominate and humiliate their victims.
  • Grandiose Sense of Self
Feels entitled to certain things as "their right."
  • Pathological Lying
Has no problem lying coolly and easily and it is almost impossible for them to be truthful on a consistent basis. Can create, and get caught up in, a complex belief about their own powers and abilities. Extremely convincing and even able to pass lie detector tests.
  • Lack of Remorse, Shame or Guilt
A deep seated rage, which is split off and repressed, is at their core. Does not see others around them as people, but only as targets and opportunities. Instead of friends, they have victims and accomplices who end up as victims. The end always justifies the means and they let nothing stand in their way.
  • Shallow Emotions
When they show what seems to be warmth, joy, love and compassion it is more feigned than experienced and serves an ulterior motive. Outraged by insignificant matters, yet remaining unmoved and cold by what would upset a normal person. Since they are not genuine, neither are their promises.
  • Incapacity for Love
  • Need for Stimulation
Living on the edge. Verbal outbursts and physical punishments are normal. Promiscuity and gambling are common.
  • Callousness/Lack of Empathy
Unable to empathize with the pain of their victims, having only contempt for others' feelings of distress and readily taking advantage of them.
  • Poor Behavioral Controls/Impulsive Nature
Rage and abuse, alternating with small expressions of love and approval produce an addictive cycle for abuser and abused, as well as creating hopelessness in the victim. Believe they are all-powerful, all-knowing, entitled to every wish, no sense of personal boundaries, no concern for their impact on others.
  • Early Behavior Problems/Juvenile Delinquency
Usually has a history of behavioral and academic difficulties, yet "gets by" by conning others. Problems in making and keeping friends; aberrant behaviors such as cruelty to people or animals, stealing, etc.
  • Irresponsibility/Unreliability
Not concerned about wrecking others' lives and dreams. Oblivious or indifferent to the devastation they cause. Does not accept blame themselves, but blames others, even for acts they obviously committed.
  • Promiscuous Sexual Behavior/Infidelity
Promiscuity, child sexual abuse, rape and sexual acting out of all sorts.
  • Lack of Realistic Life Plan/Parasitic Lifestyle
Tends to move around a lot or makes all encompassing promises for the future, poor work ethic but exploits others effectively.
  • Criminal or Entrepreneurial Versatility
Changes their image as needed to avoid prosecution. Changes life story readily.
Other Related Qualities:

  1. Contemptuous of those who seek to understand them
  2. Does not perceive that anything is wrong with them
  3. Authoritarian
  4. Secretive
  5. Paranoid
  6. Only rarely in difficulty with the law, but seeks out situations where their tyrannical behavior will be tolerated, condoned, or admired
  7. Conventional appearance
  8. Goal of enslavement of their victim(s)
  9. Exercises despotic control over every aspect of the victim's life
  10. Has an emotional need to justify their crimes and therefore needs their victim's affirmation (respect, gratitude and love)
  11. Ultimate goal is the creation of a willing victim
  12. Incapable of real human attachment to another
  13. Unable to feel remorse or guilt
  14. Extreme narcissism and grandiose
  15. May state readily that their goal is to rule the world

(The above traits are based on the psychopathy checklists of H. Cleckley and R. Hare.)

Not a joke...

For peope who think this blog is a joke:

ANGELO BARRETTO owes at least 8 million - yes, a cumulative amount of 8 million pesos to different people in Metro Manila.  I don't think that's a joke at all!

For him to parade around Manila like he has not faulted nor is not heavily indebted to society is a mystery to me...  he even came out in Maricel Laxa's show on QTV.  As much as I would want to laugh about it, the figure this guy owes isn't funny at all.  For the readers sake and for the people he owes money to,  I suggest you stay away from him and let's hope justice is served in due time.  He deserves to pay for his sins behind bars.  This guy should pay his debts to the people he has defrauded, no matter how long ago it was.

ANONYMOUS: THE ANGELO BARRETTO WORSHIPPER

You sound like a jilted lover. While he may have not treated people fairly, each person made the decision to give money to him and like any investment, things are never guaranteed. The practice of women and men being used for money is nothing new. I am sorry that it happened to good people but that's life. Get over it.

This is in response to the post of an 'anonymous' person who seems to be defending our dear friend,  Angelo.  First and foremost, Angelo always engaged in these transactions with the ulterior motives of a con artist.  He never went into these dealings with good faith, but rather, to cheat and defraud people using fake figures, documents, etc..  When it came to payments, RACERBOY would utilize fake checks which he fabricated himself and fake loans from banks.

Now, when it comes to using 'cancer' to get money of people for his so called treatments, .  The guy is shameless.  He's sick in the head and you can't go any lower than this if you ask me!  To even show himself and attend functions, gatherings, races like nothing had happened, boy, ang kapal nang mukha mo!!!!

So anonymous, sorry to burst your bubble.  You seem to have been mesmerized by the charlatan's charm.  The creation of this blog does not stem from me being a jilted lover.  This blog's purpose is for people to be informed of RACER BOY's past exploits and to prevent him from doing it to other people.  As I type this, Angelo is most probably smooth talking someone into paying a hefty fee for his 'services'.

Until the next post...

A RACING LEGEND IN HIS OWN MIND

I did my best to decipher what I could from the attached photo of the article. It was blurry and some words were hard to comprehend.  Clicking on the title takes you to a bigger size of the article image.

A RACING LEGEND IN HIS OWN MIND

He fashions himself as the country’s best bet in the razzle-dazzle world of the fast lane, even claiming to be the first Philippine driver to know every twist and turn of the Le Mans circuit after having had a successful stint last year (or so he claims). Actually, those races are novelty races wherein participants pay to race.

In every motoring event that he attends, he throws his weight around, and being the show off that he is, even regales his audience with his racing stints in Europe and Macao. When asked one time by a well-known society gal whether racer boy is in town for a brief rest from his oh-so busy schedule, boy wonder could only utter: “I am here to improve local motorsports,” as he downed a glass of light beer.

On the contrary, racer boy’s real reason for being here is that he is actually hiding from his team in Europe. Being a pay-before-race event, all of his teammates had their duties paid. Being best at what he does, he never looked back upon hearing of the required $15,000 entrance fee to race in the Le Mans, high tailed out of Europe and into the open arms of innocent Pinoy racing fans. Not quite the graceful exit to a supposedly budding career in Europe.

Racer boy recently earned the ire of an owner of a racetrack by not fulfilling the promises of an agreement. Having been paid a hefty six-figure by the racetrack owner before the actual opening of the track, the normally good-natured track owner could scratch his head in frustration and remark, ‘I already paid him and he has yet to fulfill his contractual obligations to me. He is doing nothing.’

Patrons of the racetrack know fully well of racer boy’s scams, as he is currently the talk of the town. This and another scam involving a high-end bike shop owned by a landed family from the South, often accumulating debts of over a hundred thousand pesos, racer boy kept promising payment in due time. Only when the lawyers of the bike shop owner threatened to sue did he racer boy pay up, after a year and two months of empty promises.

Such are the travails of racer boy. He gained prominence when he became the image model of a hi-tech firm and reportedly bagged an amount worthy of a BIR investigation. Sources say the firm is now regretting the day it hired racer boy. Considered as a joke in the local motorsports industry, racer boy should instead consider a career in

Good Year's Poster Boy

This article is from autoindustriya.com:

Goodyear Philippines and Filipino race car driver Angelo Barretto joins forces to bring home the trophies to the Filipino people in a recently made joint announcement at Bykes Cafe in Makati. The tire giant will support the 2004 racing campaign of Barretto which will kick-off in July at the 2nd Le Mans Classic, a competition which celebrates the history of the Le Mans 24-hour endurance race. Barretto will once again race with the French Perspective Racing Team in their classic Porsche 934 RSR.

Barretto has had a successful racing campaign in the International scene with victories at Nogaro in France, Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium, Hockenheim in Germany, Zhuhai in China, and more recently at the Le Mans Classic in France.

Barretto said he is familiar with Goodyear's commitment to motorsport competition and also further stressed that the tire manufacturer's long successful history in motorsports is more than enough evidence of this. He also related that he himself has had experience with Goodyear tires in racing as well, Goodyear Eagles are the official tire of the Rolex Grand American Sports Car Series, in which he raced in 2002.

Dave Morin, president and managing director of Goodyear Philippines, expressed excitement about Barretto and Goodyear leading at the finish lines around the world. "We look forward to many wins together - many wins dedicated to Filipinos everywhere."

Goodyear, as the tire company that has won the most motorsport championships worldwide, has leveraged its racing technology to the Goodyear tire that is used on the street.

"Our rich racing heritage is traced to 1901 and continues today with competition in endurance racing and from grassroots autocross to Top Fuel drag racing. When we win, everyone wins. What we learn at the racetrack is part of every Goodyear tire available to the consumer," Morin said.

Update

I will be posting an update in a short while.

Sorry for the delay in updates. I have been very busy.

Treating women right

You have to learn how to treat women you date right.

You mistreat women and it will come back to haunt you...

No amount from daddy's pocket will ever compensate for your maltreatment of women like me.

More about his fraudulent racing career...

... His first taste of triumph began in Asia with the 1998 China Fomula Campus Championship and the 1999 Southeast Asia Touring Car Zone Challenge. This was followed by the AF2000 race at the 46th Macau Grand Prix where he became the next Filipino contender to fly the flag on the Guia Circuit of Macau in 20 years. He was the only Asia who competed in the 2000 International Group-N Endurance Series in Europe. For this, he netted 1st in Class III and 2nd in individual driver points, as well as the Rookie Championships and Team Trophy. In the same year, Barretto was ranked 16th Overall in the roster of BMW Sport Pokal Trophy.

Preparations for Barretto's participation in the ALMS this year was result of a systematic and technologically advanced study of speed. And for Barretto, high-technology and computer simulations are tools of the trade. And even here, sped must play a significant role. By using PLDT's myDSL service, he is able top obtain Internet connections in motorsport-related sites faster than other regular dial-ups. This is because PLDT's myDSL uses broadband technology to transform the seemingly ordinary copper wires of the telephone line to an information superhighway that can transmit large volumes of data in real-time. With myDSL, he is able to actually augment his training by planning his strategy on and off track. By downloading data, Angelo is able to plan his race moves with quick precision and accuracy.

myDLS's spped allows Barretto to fully utilize and enjoy all the applications available on the internet like webhosting, viewing live webcasts, video conferencing, downloading and uploading large files, multi-media online gaming, surfing, chatting, and email - with all with no interruption.

Speed in what keeps Angelo Barretto going. He thrives on it, on and off track. And that's from someone who finds speed fascinating.

Worst enemy...

The worst enemy that Angelo could have is a girl! Hahahahahaha!

Racer owes millions in debts

It seems the speed of racing has caught up with our racing driver, Angelo Barretto. Through the years, Angelo has accumulated a large sum of debt to friends, fellow racers, bike afficionados, and his ex-girlfriends. The way, though, he accumulated it through the years, is astonishing. From hoaxes, bank fraud, forged receipts, he got the trust of people around him and left them for dirt. One of the best stories I heard through the grapevine was his so-called cancer scare. He loaned money from friends and girlfriends saying it was for his treatment but at the end of the day, he utilized them for his personal expenditures and fading racing career. A hefty amount was loaned through a wealthy socialite and not surprisingly, remains unpaid to this day.
Another story was his dealing with kart track owners here in Metro Manila. He forged documents, receipts, and bank documents to get money of the buyers and sellers which he manipulated through time. The amount… we can only guess.
It seems this guy has been around using his charm and boyish looks to manipulate and extort money from women of the upper crust of society. To top it all off, racer boy lives in their place of domicile for free. This guy sounds like a true to life Tom Ripley.
What is sad is that up to this day, Angelo still goes around his business trying to defraud another group in society. Last I heard, he was hanging around with the wealthy road bikers of Manila. His usual ploy of positioning himself as an able and well-funded businessman is at work again. For those people who will come across Angelo, one piece of advice: stay away from him! If you have friends and family that are still in contact with him, I suggest they be informed of this con artist. This has been AB’s profession for 10 to 12 years now, his racing career included. This should be brought to justice. AB should be made to pay and serve time for all his criminal activities.
Good day to you all and stay safe!
